Unshaken Candle Co was born from a season of rebuilding—of learning to breathe again after life’s hardest moments. I’m Irene, and for me, candle-making started as a quiet act of healing, a space where peace and purpose gently returned to my days.

But Unshaken is more than candles. It’s a story of family and new beginnings. My son Jim and I are a mom-and-son team who discovered the joy of creating together. While I pour candles that bring warmth and serenity, Jim crafts small-batch, nourishing tallow soap—rich, simple, and full of care.

Together, we’ve found a way to spend meaningful time side by side, pouring our faith and love into every product we make. Our work is rooted in the belief that peace is found in presence: a soft glow, a gentle scent, a bar of soap that nurtures your skin—each a small invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect.

The name Unshaken comes from my favorite Bible verse, Psalm 16:8, which has carried me through pain, growth, and ultimately joy. It is a reminder that even when life feels uncertain, we can be steady, grounded, and full of light.
